About
Because I Knew I Could Do More
Hey, I’m Anissa—founder of MTech Izzy (Make Tech Easy), I’m a workflow architect, HR rebel, and unapologetic nerd with a heart for people.
Before this, I spent over a decade in Human Resources, working everywhere from scrappy startups with 10 employees to corporate giants with 6,000+ and growing. I didn’t join HR because I loved it—I actually joined because I hated how my HR rep treated people. I saw the same cold, outdated behavior in multiple companies and thought, “I can do this better. I can do this with respect.” And I did.
Turns out, I fell in love with the work. I saw how systems could either empower people or hold them back—and I chose to build the kind that uplift. I went back to school and specialized in Public Relations, HR Management, and Information Technology, blending the human and the technical into one clear mission: make tech feel human.
I’ve worked across industries—grocery, healthcare, trucking, construction, manufacturing, tech, food processing—and no matter the field, the struggles were the same: broken systems, wasted time, and people stuck in processes that didn’t serve them.
My “aha” moment? Excel. Yep, that humble little spreadsheet tool cracked everything open. Once I realized what Excel could really do, I dove in headfirst. I started building tools that solved problems before they even happened—and made people say, “Wait… it can do that?”
Now, I help small business owners solve reporting problems, process problems, communication breakdowns, tech transitions, crucial conversations, startup documentation—you name it. One client saved 20+ hours a week with a simple report automation. Another gained 5+ hours weekly with a staffing dashboard that made other sites jealous. And one client went from storing receipts in a shoebox to having a clean, automated system that saved her from tax and client headaches.
My zone of genius? I stay positive, energized, and relentless. I don’t stop until there’s a resolution—and it’s better than you expected.
I work with people like they’re… people. Not above me, not below me, not some shiny object I’m afraid to break. I’m real, down-to-earth, and in it with you. My process is human-centered, built around what you want and need. Tech isn’t here to take your job—it’s here to do the dirty work so you can focus on what actually matters.
Make Tech Easy
My Mission
Automation that empowers—so you can do more of what matters.
I help people take back their time. Whether it’s a solo entrepreneur drowning in spreadsheets or a team stuck in outdated processes, my mission is to eliminate the extra steps, the reporting headaches, and the tech intimidation—and replace them with clarity, confidence, and systems that actually work.
I build tools that fit your comfort zone while nudging you toward growth. From HRIS setups to Microsoft automations to AI-powered workflows, I design solutions that feel like they were made for you—because they are. And if that means easing up on tech to get you there? I’m all in.
I serve people who are ready for change. People who want to streamline, simplify, and stop wasting time on tasks that don’t move the needle. I’ve worked across industries—grocery, tech, healthcare, trucking, education, construction, and more—and no matter the field, the goal is the same: make life easier, make work better.
I believe anyone can use tech. You just have to change the way you think about it. I’m not here to throw jargon at you—I’m here to listen, learn your story, and build something that feels like a win. Because once you automate one thing, you start to see how much more is possible. And when you’re finally free from the mundane, you get to focus on what truly matters.
My Values
Integrity
I’ve seen what happens when people are treated like numbers, and I’ve made it my mission to flip that script.
Service
I want to make your life easier, your business smoother, and your systems feel like they were made just for you. Because they are.
Excellence
I don’t do “good enough.” I chase better, cleaner, faster—every time.
